Two of the greatest batsmen of the modern era,Sachin Tendulkar n Brian Lara.
Both these players are a great timer of the cricket ball and also possess the power hitting required to send the ball out of the park!
Coincidentally both play with a MRF bat!
Both have set such high standards in both test and odi form of the game that it seems almost impossible for d players of the next generation to surpass them!.
anyways this is a comparison among the both!......
N according to me it's Sachin Tendullkar who is the better amongst the two of them!!
for having amassed the most centuries in both forms of the game i.e. 85 and the most runs,16684 in odi's and 12773 in tests in comparison to lara's 53 centuries and 10405 odi runs and11953 test runs sachin tendulkar comes out superior!.
for having seen everything and for having played more than 18 years of cricket and still playing he surely deserves to be hailed as the Greatest Batsmen of all time!.
and the great Lara himself has something to say:
There is no comparison between the two.Sachin tendulkar is far ahead.Apart from the ability he possesses he is also famous for maintaining his personality outside the field.You ask any player and he will probably say Sachin Tendulkar is the best .There is one more thing:Brian Lara played for West Indies which depended entirely on him.He played at no.3 and got an innings every match.West Indies won far less matches than India.So he got to bat a lot more times than the LIttle master.Thus he scored more runs in less no. of tests but he took more innings.India always had a good bunch of test cricketers so it was not always that Sachin Tendulkar needed to score the bulk of the runs.Sachin Tendulkar was a selfless player who put his country before any of his personal records whereas the 400* scored by Lara would never have been possible if he was not the captain.They drew that match which could have been a victory.Nevertheless,Lara too was a great player.

but anyways sachin has playd more matches d frequency of indian matches is much morE!!.....less gap btw series n stuff!!>....so ya sachin is d best!
